The Kansas State Florist Association will be hosting its annual convention and trade show July 27th through the 29th in Wichita, Kansas. Baisch and Skinner will have a booth throughout the event and will be on site to showcase our product lines and services. Stop by our booth, talk with our employees from our Wichita and Topeka locations and see how we've improved our Kansas stores.

All Baisch and Skinner locations will be closed for three days over Labor Day weekend. We will be closed in observation of the holiday on Saturday, September 1st, Sunday, September 2nd and Monday, September 3rd. All locations will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, September 4th.

A Nightmare Before Christmas

September 10th kicks off this year's Fall Open House & Design Showcase at all Baisch and Skinner locations. A popular event for customers, this annual show brings nearly 500 customers through the St. Louis location each year. In a continuing effort to meet the needs of our customers, several changes have been made to the show's format this year.

Our Topeka Store, in association with Teleflora's Heart of America Unit, will be hosting "Color Me Green", a Teleflora Design Show, on Wednesday, October 17th.

Our St. Joseph Store, in association with Teleflora's Heart of America Unit, will be hosting "Color Me Green", a Teleflora Design Show, on Thursday, October 18th.

Our Wichita location continues to take the very successful "Ten Off Tuesdays" campaign to new heights with their upcoming December event. On Tuesday, December 4th, the staff in Wichita will hold a Design Demonstration between 4pm and 6pm where Holiday Designs and winter decorating tips will be on display.

We are pleased to announce the introduction of an upcoming Business Speaker Seminar Series. On January 15th in St. Louis and January 16th in Kansas City, we will be hosting an engaging presentation about incorporating strategic public relation tools into a successful marketing program. Jennifer Sparks of the Society of American Florists will be on hand to deliver a presentation about the "Power of Public Relations."
